license in order to fish in the lake or rivers. In
addition to having a fishing license, you must also
attain a boat license that can be purchased at the
town hall before placing a private watercraft in
Lake Lure.

is also a limit on the number of crappie you can
catch per day, per boat of 20 and they must be no
less than 10 inches long.
